"I won't go." Izzy said stonily, her icy blue eyes cold
with defiance.
"Why not?" Deborah sighed
wearily, exhausted by her daughter’s stubbornness.
“He’s not my dad.”
“He’s not trying to be. He might make a good friend though, if you
give him a chance.”
“I won’t go.” She said.
